A Comic strip is a sequence of drawing, either in color or black and white, relating a comic incident, and adventure or mystery story, etc. Usually printed as a horizontal strip in daily newspapers and in an uninterrupted block or longer sequence of such strips in Sunday newspapers and in comic books.
Fun Fact!
The first newspaper comic strips appeared in North America in the 19th century. The yellow kid is usually credited as one of the first newspaper strips. However, the art form combining words and pictures developed gradually and there are many examples that led up to the comic strip.
